We’re a husband and wife with a drone and a soft spot for small businesses.
Stephen and Lauryn — born and raised in Central Florida, FAA certified, and still a little bit amazed at what this place looks like from 400 feet.
Our story
It started with a view of home
Stephen grew up in Groveland. Lauryn grew up just down the road. Between us we’ve spent our whole lives in Central Florida — the lakes, the orange groves, the neighborhoods that were pasture a decade ago and are rooftops today. We thought we knew what all of it looked like.
Then we put a camera 400 feet up.
Everything familiar looked new again — and the businesses we’d driven past a thousand times had never once been seen this way.
That’s where Florida Drone Experts started in [YEAR]. Not as a tech company, and not as a hobby that got out of hand, but as two people who wanted to help local businesses show what they’d built.
A listing that had been sitting suddenly makes sense when you can see the whole lot, the water access, the way it sits on the street. A contractor’s progress photos stop being a phone snapshot from the parking lot and start being something worth sending a lender. That’s the part we care about.

StephenRemote pilotGroveland native with a background in business and marketing. He holds an FAA Remote Pilot’s License and flies every job himself. His favorite part isn’t the flying — it’s watching a client’s brand land differently once people can finally see the whole picture.
LaurynEditing & creativeAlso Central Florida raised, and always drawn to the outdoors and the natural beauty of this state. She handles editing and advertising, turning raw footage into something a business is genuinely proud to put their name on.

Licensed on every flight
FAA Part 107 certified and insured. We check airspace before we launch, and we’ll tell you honestly if a site can’t be flown legally.
Local, not regional
