Our Aircraft

The equipment behind the work

Commercial airframes carrying high-resolution, video and radiometric thermal payloads, maintained and flown by a certified pilot. Here is what they are capable of, and the work that proves it.

Overview

Equipment chosen for the job, not the spec sheet

A drone is a camera that happens to fly. What matters to a client is not the model on the box, it is whether the frame resolves the detail you need, whether the sensor reads temperature as well as light, and whether the aircraft can be in the air at five in the morning when the pour starts.

We fly three DJI airframes. The Matrice 4T carries the radiometric thermal payload and the laser rangefinder for inspection work. The Air 3S is the everyday stills and video aircraft. The Mini 5 Pro comes out when a site is too tight for either. At least two of the three come to every paid shoot.

Capability

Four things the equipment does,
and the frames that prove it

Every image below came off our own aircraft on a real Central Florida job. No stock, no renders.

Full-Res Stills

Detail you can zoom into

Fastener condition, staining and seam separation, readable from a safe standoff. Shot at full sensor resolution so the crop still holds up.

4K Video

Motion that shows scale

Smooth 4K passes over frontage, parking and approach, cut for listing pages, investor decks and social.

Radiometric Thermal

Temperature, not light

Trapped moisture, envelope loss and hot connections show as measurable temperature difference rather than a guess.

Night Operations

Work that does not stop at sunset

Pours start before dawn and run past dark. Our aircraft are lit and equipped for it, flown under Part 107 night rules.

The Fleet

What we fly

Three aircraft, each earning its place by doing something the other two cannot.

DJI Matrice 4T

Thermal, inspection and enterprise work

Cameras

Wide, medium tele and tele

Stills

48MP

Thermal

640 x 512 radiometric

Extras

Laser rangefinder, NIR light

Flight time

Up to 49 min

The aircraft behind every thermal job we fly. Roof moisture surveys, solar arrays, electrical scans and search and rescue, plus a laser rangefinder for measured inspection work.

DJI Air 3S

Primary stills and video

Cameras

Dual: 1-inch wide + 3x tele

Stills

Sensing

Omnidirectional with LiDAR

Flight time

Up to 45 min

The workhorse. Construction documentation, progression visits, commercial and residential real estate. The tele lens pulls compressed detail shots without flying closer.

DJI Mini 5 Pro

Tight sites and rapid response

Camera

1-inch CMOS

Stills

4K/60 HDR

Weight

Under 249 g

Flight time

Up to 36 min

Small enough to work confined residential lots and tight job sites the bigger airframes cannot use comfortably, without giving up the 1-inch sensor.

Payloads

What each payload is for

High-resolution stills

Construction records, listings and inspection detail.

4K video

Marketing, owner updates, leasing and social.

Radiometric thermal

Roof moisture, envelope, electrical, search and rescue.

Close-in inspection passes

Roofs, towers, structures and rooftop equipment.

Operating Practice

How we look after the equipment

Reliability on a job site is mostly discipline on the ground. The same routine runs before every flight, whether it is a half-acre listing or a hospital expansion.

Questions

About our equipment

Yes. At least two of our three airframes come to every paid shoot, along with spare batteries. Milestone work like a pour cannot be rescheduled around an equipment fault, so redundancy is standard rather than an upsell.

We fly to the published limits of the aircraft, with our own margin on top. If a site is outside that on the day we reschedule at no charge rather than risk the aircraft over your crew. Central Florida weather usually means coming back the next morning.

Yes. A good share of our construction work is early-morning and after-dark pours, and the Matrice 4T also carries a near-infrared auxiliary light for low-light inspection and search work. Night flights are run in accordance with Part 107 night operation rules, with the required anti-collision lighting.

Our operations are insured, and a certificate of insurance is available on request for your GC, property manager or risk department. Full detail on the Certifications page.
